Can I just hire them directly?
No unfortunately. The VA’s that work for Evergreen Virtual Assistants are contracted to our agency and your contract also limits hiring them directly for a period of time.
Do I need a full-time or part-time VA?
That is a very good question. Our answer is to staff ahead of demand. One of my mentors years ago told me to “staff ahead of my book”. To basically have more people to row the boat than is needed to maintain the existing volume and have the ability to grow.
If you need an extra set of hands to just keep up… our recommendation would be to add a full-time VA. If your agency is in the position to go to the next level and get through that glass ceiling a part-time VA might be a better fit. Each office is different.
You can always upgrade your plan in the future from part-time to full-time. Even add an additional VA when things really get rolling! There are agencies that have no “local” people and have opted to have all virtual assistants.
Can I start out with a part-time VA and upgrade to full-time later?
Yes. Many times our new clients will “test the water” with a part-time VA. Later upgrading to a full-time position. Depending on availability we will do our best to accommodate this case-by-case transaction.
Is there a guarantee?
Yes. If you are not satisfied with the service performed by your new VA, you can cancel your plan at any time and have up to a one week refund.
Is there a contract with Evergreen?
There is no commitment contract. We run on a month-to-month basis and you can cancel your relationship at any time without penalty.
Are there hidden fees?
Good question. And no. The billing is either on a part-time or a full-time basis. This monthly fee covers payroll, unlimited phone calls (incoming and outgoing) from/to the States along with email, texting and video support.
Will I keep the same VA?
The short answer is yes. Our design is to place a dedicated assistant with you to become one of your own. To be molded and trained to your agency style.
However, if you are on a part-time plan and a full-time position becomes available they could move on to larger opportunities.
This is on a case-by-case basis just like a traditional hire in your office that might be looking for full-time work while working in your office only part-time.
If there is a problem - who do I call?
In the rare event that there is a performance issue, call or email our office.
Tell me more about my new virtual assistant
Your new VA will be business minded and a skilled addition to your agency. Available by phone, internet, text and video chat to work on and support all of your agency tasks and marketing efforts.
How will we communicate with the new assistant?
Your new VA is just a click or a call away. Available to speak with you and your staff. Most common forms of communication with VA’s is phone, video call, and computer IM/Texting with the use of Google Chat.
The form of communication can be adopted to blend with your existing agency design and flow. They are flexible in this aspect
Will I have to train them?
Yes. Just like any new employee --- you will need to “pull up a chair” and show them how you like things done. They will know the basics of the systems, but as we all know that every agency, carrier and AMS is different.
Our VA’s are trainable and quick to learn your ways of doing things. Once they have seen your way of doing things a time or two… you will be good to go.
Do I get to meet my assistant before they start work?
We select the best person for you and your office based on the information that we collect from you. You will meet your new assistant at the introduction meeting (video call with the three of us together). In the event that you feel that our selection is not the best fit for your office; you can request a different person.
